CAEN is the information technology (IT) services department for Michigan Engineering, offering IT resources to support educational, research, and administrative needs. These resources are provided to U-M students, faculty, and staff with roles in Michigan Engineering, and a focus on the specific needs and requirements of students and faculty in Engineering disciplines.
CRLT-Engin
The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching in Engineering (CRLT-Engin) represents a partnership between the College of Engineering and the CRLT. Established in 2004, CRLT-Engin promotes evidence-based practices in engineering education so that students and instructors from diverse backgrounds and social identities can learn and thrive. By working with individuals, departments, and the College, we cultivate a strong community of engineering educators who strive for excellence in teaching, innovate in teaching-learning environments, and investigate the impact of educational initiatives on student learning.
Michigan Engineering Online & Professional Education (ME-OPE)
Michigan Engineering Online & Professional Education (ME-OPE) partners with academic units and faculty to support the design and delivery of online courses and programs. ME-OPE is responsible for the oversight of Michigan Engineering’s entire portfolio of professional education certificates.
