  • Canvas Commons  
    Commons is a learning object repository that enables educators to find, import, and share resources. A digital library full of educational content, Commons allows Canvas users to share learning resources with other users as well as import learning resources into a Canvas course.
  • Canvas External Tools  
    An overview of Canvas external tools at U-M. External tools extend and enhance the functionality of Canvas courses.
  • Canvas Public Announcements (Touts)
    Need a message to appear in Canvas for all faculty, staff, and students? Canvas announcements can be placed on the Canvas Dashboard. Announcements should be directly related to Canvas, digital learning systems, or of broad academic interest to the university community.

GradeCraft

A U-M created learning management system that helps instructors build gameful courses & encourages students to focus on the craft of learning. GradeCraft helps instructors utilize gameful methodologies and apply them to the design of your learning environment. While some instructors use Gradecraft as a stand-alone system, it can also be added to a Canvas course as an external tool.
