DesignPLUS Fall 2026 Training Opportunities
Have you heard? U-M now has DesignPLUS available in our Canvas instances. DesignPLUS is a time-saving toolset for every educator and course designer working in the Canvas LMS. It helps you quickly build, style, and scale high-quality courses—making learning engaging and accessible.
We want to ensure the instructional support community knows about upcoming training opportunities for DesignPLUS:
- Week of August 24: DesignPLUS training from ITS Teaching & Learning will be offered twice a week on an ongoing basis.
- On-Demand: Recordings from the Five-Day DesignPLUS “Summer School” Training Series are now published.
- August 11 & 12: DesignPLUS was highlighted both days of the ITS Teaching & Learning 2026 Virtual Summit (August 11/12, 12:00-4:30).
- Consults: ITS Teaching & Learning is pleased to offer personalized DesignPLUS consultations
Call for DesignPLUS Ambassadors
ITS Teaching & Learning is actively recruiting unit contacts to serve as ambassadors for the campus-wide DesignPLUS rollout. Unit ambassadors will work within their departments as local points of contact to share best practices, demonstrate features, and support the adoption of course design. Please complete this form to sign up to be a Unit Ambassador. The first DesignPLUS Unit Ambassador meeting will be held Wednesday, September 2 from 1:00–2:00 p.m. and will include a 30-minute hands-on demo. All meetings will be held the first Wednesday of the month from 1:00–2:00 pm.
